All About Musicals

Maria Riboli, who has been gracious enough to frequent All About Musicals (and regard it as a “must-read”), recently found out that the play she and her friend Stefano Genovese have produced/directed, Baaahhh, has been accepted to the Fringe Festival, which takes place August 10-26, 2007! Baaahhh was written by Stanislav Stratiev. Here’s what she had to say:

Last year they received more than 8000 applications for 20-25 shows…it’s one of the biggest windows for theater here in New York…
From the Fringe some shows went straight to Broadway…

Maria, I’ve only just met you recently, but I can’t begin to say how excited and happy I am for you! I know this is a dream come true for you, and it’s something I can look up to because it’s a dream of mine to do what you’re doing, to write a show and bring it to life on stage!
