Tonight, July 10, is the premiere of the “sing-along variety game show,” NBC’s “The Singing Bee.” Musically-inclined Joey Fatone hosts.

According to the official NBC announcement, “Each episode will begin with an audience-wide sing-along where eight lucky contestants will be chosen to compete in a series of fun filled singing games. In this exciting singing showdown, there’s no middle ground for partially correct answers — contestants must be perfect or they’re out of the game.”

Sounds like fun to me! I’ll be watching (and participating) from my home! How about you?

Joey Fatone is no stranger to music; he got his start in the boy band *N Sync, before making his Broadway stage debut in Rent as Mark. He was also seen in the Broadway revival of Little Shop of Horrors, and on film in “My Big Fat Greek Wedding,” among others. This gig seems like it’s right up his alley!
