“Live with Regis and Kelly” will be visited by all four musicals that are nominated for Best Musical, as well as one for Best Musical Revival, at this year’s 61st Annual Tony Awards.
Performances during “Broadway Week” on the popular morning talk show will include scenes/songs from Spring Awakening, Grey Gardens, Curtains, Mary Poppins, as well as the Broadway revival of Company.
All of this is leading up to the June 10th celebration of the 61st Annual Tony Awards.
According to Playbill, the Tony-nominated performance line-up is as follows:
June 4: Spring Awakening nominee John Gallagher Jr. performs “Don’t Do Sadness/Blue Wind” with castmate Lauren Pritchard.
June 5: David Hyde Pierce, a Tony nominee for Curtains, leads cast members in the song “Show People.”
June 6: Nominated star Raúl Esparza will belt “Being Alive” from Company.
June 7: Tony Award nominee Christine Ebersole joins Grey Gardens co-star Erin Davie on “Peas in a Pod.”
June 8: The cast of the new musical Mary Poppins perform “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.”
“Live with Regis and Kelly” is on ABC weekdays at 9 AM (ET). Check your local listings for your local showings.
